not really a question, but just wanted tosay that cuteharajuku on storenvy sells really adorable, high quality creepers for less than $60! the first time i got creepers i got $20 knockoffs from ebay and after a year they're falling apart a bit so if anyone can't afford demonia or tuk definitely go for cuteharajuku's shoes. they don't have a huge selection of creepers, but they have a few different styles, and they're worth the money, i promise!

as ridiculous as it seems, to stop my creepers murdering the back of my feet i tape pads of tissue them under my sock (attached to the underside of my foot as well so the tissue isn't forced up when i put my foot in). they feel pretty plush and comfy now and i can walk around in them for much longer!

so i just got my creepers about two three months ago. and ive been wearing them perfectly. but all of a sudden the bottom of the shoe ripped. and now every time i walk it rips more. ive been gluing it, but itll just rip again. idunno what to do :^( plz help xoxo

There is no way around bringing it to a professional. but srsly go and return them. you paid good money and they need to take them back if they break that fast !

I have a pair of TUK creepers and they're great but I haven't worn them in months because I rolled my ankle hard the first time I wore them out. They weren't too hard to stand in but walking felt so hard and I wonder if it'll get easier with wear?

I really don’t know but I’d guess they will just as all shoes.

For the person asking about leather creepers, I do personally find that they take longer to soften and 'break in' to the contours of my feet. My leather creepers are the only ones I've ever had blisters in! (thanks for running such an awesome blog btw 😚)

Here you go !

(Thanks. I should really start posting pics again but I don’t have much time these days..)

so i just ordered my pair of creepers off amazon and they are white leather. I was wondering if they are leather, will they be harder to break in or walk in than suede? also, i want to get a second pair of creepers and i was wondering whether black suede or pink suede would be better (since i already have the white creepers i just ordered, and a pair of black doc martens)

First of all: you can’t really break in creepers. The only problem you’ll have won’t be the leather part but the thick rubber sole and that won’t break in any way. Though you may experience some irritation at the back of your heel (the achilles part?)
I’d say go for the pink if you already know you can pair it with a lot in your wardrobe. no use ordering shoes you’ll never wear right. otherwise you can never go wrong with black ones.

I know it's matter of opinion but double or triple sole? i can't decide!

double ! easier to walk in especially for first-timers

Thank you! I just ordered a pair of really cute floral ones, which thankfully came in my size ♡ I can be pretty and intimidatingly tall at the same time ~

exactly ! be sure to submit some pics when you get them ! :)

Hi! I really want to get a pair of creepers, but I am already 5'11, and even 1-inch creepers would make me 6 foot or over. Should I go for it, or not?

Get them, be taller than everyone else and own it.

Taller than most guys ? Own it. If they’re afraid of you for being taller than them, they’re not worth your time.

Just: own it.

Hey! Well, I go to this very hippie school in mexico city and prom night is in three weeks. I was thinking about wearing an elegant dress with oxford creepers. it would look really different from other girls' outfits but I think it could look cool. What do you think?

Total go!

But don’t wear something just because you want to be different from the ‘other girls’. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. That is the most important thing. If you’re not used to your creepers you may end up hating yourself because your feet start hurting mid-way.

Hey! I'm having trouble picking my first pair of creepers so I'm seeking help and thought that you would be the best blog to ask this to. I'm sorry if this question was already asked before but I'm not sure if I should buy velvet or suede. Which one do you prefer? By the way if this information helps, I'm thinking of buying a black colored one. Thanks! xx

I’d definitely recommend the suede creepers.

Of course Velvet is nice, too but since that fabric is much harder to clean I’d advice you to take the suede ones as your first pair.

do u think it's possible to dye the suede skin on the creepers from maroon to black? hahaha

Actually yes I think that’s possible.

I once had another pair of shoes with suede skin which were an ugly green colour so I tried colouring them with black fabric paint. Worked perfectly !
Though I would try not to get them too wet afterwards.

Maybe you should try on a little spot at first but I do think it’s possible.

do you know a blog who answers about sizing? also i'm not sure if they stretch out any or if i should get a 1 inch or 2 inch platform.

The thing is that noone but maybe the company manufacturing the shoes you wanna now about could really answert about sizes. I refrain from doing so because I haven’t owned Creepers from every possible company yet and now every shoe is the same. I don’t think anybody could answer questions about sizing to the point it would be 100% accurate.

Are you ordering online or do you have the chance to try them on?

But about the platform there is one tip: do you plan to wear them often? then get the 1inch if you don’t want to hurt your feet too much too often. I used to wear them every second day which can be fine even with the 2 inch soles but wearing them for a long time on a day is a bit problematic. especially if your feet aren’t super good to start with.

please tell me you still use this blog i have questions!!! :|

I am still using this blog and I answer questions but not about sizing.

I have T.U.K. Creepers- and really wide feet, so before buying them, I was worried that they wouldn't fit, due to the width of my feet. However, they fit fine. I just thought I'd share this so anyone with the same concern doesn't worry about it.

i recently bought a pair of triple sole creepers and i was just wondering if you can walk long distances in them? or are they shoes that aren't generally very hard wearing and should only be worn sparingly?

I would strongly suggest not wearing them long distance if you’re not used to them. never.

I don’t think many people can even if their used to wearing them at all. Try wearing them for short time periods that you extend over time but always have a pair of snearks or slip ons or whatever in your bag to be save (bleeding feet are not nice). just stop when your feet hurt, also when you wear them to many days in row your feet may start to hurt and then you should put a little break in.
it’s easy: just listen to your body.

Hi! I'm planning to get myself a pair of Creepers for Christmas but I'm torn between the suede and the leather. Which do you think is better?

I guess it all depends on which colour/style you want. I love my black buckle suede creepers but that’s just because I am not really a fan of shiny leather. What style do you want?

My heels slip out of my creepers every time I walk, even though they're my size and fit fine :/ They aaare new and I'm still wearing them in (been wearing them around the house and I went out in them for the first time today), but today I wore two pairs of thin anklet socks under a pair of hiking socks, and although my feet felt very snug my heels still slipped :/ Do you think this is just because they're new and it'll stop? :/ They're demonia 402s

I guess it is different for everyone. Do they slip out completely or just move a bit?

You gotta take into account that the soles do not bend well if they aren’t t.u.k sneaker creepers so a bit of slipping is normal imo.

I'm about to buy some creepers online, but I don't know whether to get the black ones or the white ones. Both look so nice! I like how the white ones has that black and white pattern at the front, whereas the black is kinda of plain, though the black ones seem to match more things :S Which colour do you prefer?

I got both, white and black ones but I prefer my black creepers for exactly that reason, I can combine it much more easily.

I have Underground creepers + they do run a little big. I'm a UK5 + my creepers are a UK5 but when I get my triples I will get a UK4 because they are a little loose + I think the extra weight will make them even looser. Also, I got mine late 2011, + I've worn them almost everyday since I bought them - yes, the sole is wearing down a bit but they're holding up really well. I walk miles in mine all the time + they're super comfortable (for me, anyway). Thought I'd share for people wondering.

Thanks! :)
