The thing is that noone but maybe the company manufacturing the shoes you wanna now about could really answert about sizes. I refrain from doing so because I haven’t owned Creepers from every possible company yet and now every shoe is the same. I don’t think anybody could answer questions about sizing to the point it would be 100% accurate.
Are you ordering online or do you have the chance to try them on?
But about the platform there is one tip: do you plan to wear them often? then get the 1inch if you don’t want to hurt your feet too much too often. I used to wear them every second day which can be fine even with the 2 inch soles but wearing them for a long time on a day is a bit problematic. especially if your feet aren’t super good to start with.
I am still using this blog and I answer questions but not about sizing.
I would strongly suggest not wearing them long distance if you’re not used to them. never.
I don’t think many people can even if their used to wearing them at all. Try wearing them for short time periods that you extend over time but always have a pair of snearks or slip ons or whatever in your bag to be save (bleeding feet are not nice). just stop when your feet hurt, also when you wear them to many days in row your feet may start to hurt and then you should put a little break in.
it’s easy: just listen to your body.
Imo Underground. Though different people have different opinions.
I guess it all depends on which colour/style you want. I love my black buckle suede creepers but that’s just because I am not really a fan of shiny leather. What style do you want?
I guess it is different for everyone. Do they slip out completely or just move a bit?
You gotta take into account that the soles do not bend well if they aren’t t.u.k sneaker creepers so a bit of slipping is normal imo.
These may be fake but I have a friend that bought something else from the seller and the quality wasn’t so bad, so you may wanna give it a shot.
also:
you’re welcome.
I got both, white and black ones but I prefer my black creepers for exactly that reason, I can combine it much more easily.
Thanks! :)
You’re welcome, I am always happy to help. :)
I really don’t know if I can answer this. There were times I wore my underground creepers every day but never for long because I go through style phases and just wear one kind of shoes now and then again for a length of time.
I wouldn’t recommend you wearing them for reaaaaally long walks because your feet will hate you for it at some point.
For wearing them often I’d say they will last over a year, depending on how you treat them and what kind of creepers you get, like if it’s a single or double sole creepers because double soles bend less easy than one soles so the connection between the shoe and the sole gets worn down faster. which is not a sign of bad quality (at least if it keeps some month to get loose) but is just normal imho.
of if you get creepers with buckles or to bind, buckles get loose with time, too if you make them real tight around your foot (does this make sense) and the same with your laces, the little .. things (?) that connect your laces to the shoe may stretch out a bit over time if it’s bad quality. I can’t say anything about that with underground because I got black suede creepers with buckles but my t.u.k creepers with laces stretched out and one even ripped the first day because it got stuck in an escalator.
otherwise I would recommend to not wear them to heavy concerts because people will step on them and you might fall and shit and if you get plain leather ones in white they will get really dirty.
I hope this answers your question at least to some extend (though I realize that I talked about that only for 1/5 of this post) and if you got any more questions just shoot ‘em my way.
